Community Service Project

The community service is the “Students Serving Society” window of the University. In this project, students are taken to preselected sites in our local community to see the reality of people’s everyday lives and the pressing need for change. Their many evolving projects include tutoring women—whose illiteracy rate far exceeds that of men—and children at various schools in the area.

To enroll one out-of-school child costs $40 per term. This cost includes school fees, uniforms, books, etc. A 3-month skill acquisition training for women in tailoring costs $414. This cost includes a complete set of sewing machines and other accessories, plus a stipend.

Your gift will impact the lives of thousands.
