Adamawa Peacemakers Initiative (API)

Adamawa Peacemakers Initiative (API): API aims to foster peace and harmony among the various religious and tribal groups in the Adamawa state and the Northeast region. AUN has been working with the API to help train vulnerable youth in our community, believing as we do that violence is rooted in hopelessness, poverty, and lack of opportunity. AUN has initiated several development projects, including ICT training for vulnerable youth, to give young people the knowledge and skills needed to work and start their own businesses using the latest information technologies.

API has supported several peace-building initiatives, bringing lasting peace between previously antagonistic tribes in communities such as Madagali, Gulak, and Numan, all in Adamawa state.  Sponsorship for this program will assist greatly in helping the area, and the costs relate to projects spearheaded by this group.  Any of the projects for this will have the name of the company attached.
