Peace-through-Sports: The Peace through Sports initiative of AUN provides the opportunity for young people to get to know people from outside their own religions and tribal groups in friendly and peaceful competition. Youth in the community form teams while participating in a Peace and Conflict resolution workshop. These teams thereafter participate in a tournament that promotes the vision of “One Family” through sports and helps the youths develop friendships across ethnic and religious divides.

Once they have completed the Peace through Sports program, they can proceed to take ICT and entrepreneurship training.  If a group would like to assist in this type of sports program and sponsor an event named after their organization, we can operate a full tournament for local villages for $500.  This will include trophies, medals, transportation costs, soccer balls, and appropriate jerseys.
